Welcome to Water Week!

What is Lancaster Water Week?

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, Lancaster Water Week, seeks to educate and empower our community to care for the 1,400 miles of streams and rivers in Lancaster County.  Join us for over 60 events as we paddle, explore, volunteer, and take action for the streams and rivers of Lancaster County!

Dive into an unforgettable adventure with our guided kayaking trip along the Conestoga River, blending the beauty of nature with the spirit of inclusion. Join us this June, as we celebrate both Pride Month and Lancaster Conservancy’s Water Week. Glide through serene waters surrounded by lush greenery, guided by experienced instructors who ensure your safety while illuminating the rich history and ecological significance of the river.

As you paddle, immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of Pride, showcasing our commitment to diversity and unity. Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or a first-time paddler, this journey promises moments of joy, connection, and reflection. Together, let's embrace the essence of Pride and the importance of preserving our precious waterways.

Book your spot now and embark on a celebration of nature, diversity, and community. Bring your own boat, or kayak rental ticket options available. Come paddle with us and let your spirit soar on the Conestoga River.

Important Note: We never want anyone to walk away from joining us for a float because the cost is prohibitive. Scholarships are available. To learn about options, contact Malinda at malinda@conestogariverclub.org

Tour information:

Tour meeting location will be shared with participants only 2 days prior to the event. It is our goal that everyone be safe in body and spirit. Contact Emily at programs@conestogariverclub.org for more information.

Participants should arrive 15 minutes early at 9:45AM prepared to sign in and shuttle to the launch location.

In the event of bad weather, this event will be canceled and all tickets fully refunded. Fingers crossed for beautiful, sunny skies!

There are a limited number of kayak rental reservations available.

Age limits: No children under 12 years of age may participate on this float. Children 12 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
