Join Marty and the Pride Pledge team for an informative online Rainbow Awareness 101 Training on Wednesday 17th November, 10.30am - 12pm, hosted on Microsoft Teams.
Our Rainbow Awareness Training sessions are informative workshops designed to support organisations and individuals who are wishing to improve their understanding of LGBTTQIA + people and the rainbow communities to which they belong. Rainbow Awareness Training is suitable for anyone wanting to become a better ally, but particularly for those in a professional setting. These sessions welcome the chance for some great Q & A too, so come prepared to ask away!.
What does the training cover? Our awareness training sessions cover a broad range of useful and topic information including;
- how to best support LGBTTQIA+ members of your workplace
- Rainbow terminology and common definitions
- how to uplift colleagues who are gender transitioning or considering coming out at work
- Insight into barriers faced by rainbow whanau in the workplace
- Common scenarios of diversity or inclusion challenges
- And more.
Sign up for training! This online training is free for all Pride Pledge supporters and organisations to attend. If you’re already a supporter, head to Humantix to register your attendance.
For organisations interested in taking the Pledge, but yet to sign up, you’re welcome to send one member of your workplace along for free to scope it out!
We will be hosting these online FREE sessions every few months.
