Event description

Pride Tide Fest is Geraldton's first youth music, arts and culture festival. We'll party the night away to celebrate our LGBTIQA+ community with a night of live music, a silent disco, glitter and dancing under the stars. 

What to expect: 

  • 7 local music acts performing throughout the night 
  • Local food from Sea Girl Food Van 
  • All Night Silent Disco 
  • Mocktail Bar 
  • Glitter Bar 
  • Chill out / low sensory corner - for when you need a quieter moment! 
  • A safe space for you to have fun 
  • An Alcohol and Drug Free Event

Where is it held? 

  • Regional Sounds Building - 246 Marine Terrace (Across from KFC) 

Who is it for? 

  • Everyone aged 12-25! The purpose of the event is to celebrate LGBTIQA+ Youth but the event is open to everyone! 
  • To keep everyone safe, the night will be spilt into two parts. 5:00pm-8:00pm is for the 12-16 year old age group. 8:30pm-11:00pm is the 17-25 year old age group. When registering ticket, please register for the correct event according to your age. We'll be asking you to bring some form of ID along with a name that matches the ticket. 

How much does it cost? 

  • Entry is completely free! You just need to register for a ticket. If you can no longer attend, please refund your ticket so we can offer it to someone else. 
  • Bring some cash to purchase some food from SeaGirl food van. 

What about safety? 

  • A huge and valid concern for Pride Tide Fest is safety. As the lead agency in town supporting youth, Headspace Geraldton are committed to ensuring a safe night for all. 
  • We'll have trained and qualified Headspace staff working on the night to support the event and all attendees, including with transitioning to and from the event. 
  • St. John's Ambulance 
  • Trained Security
  • Strict rules ensuring the event is drug, smoke and alcohol free. 
  • Strict policies to ensure all staff comply with child safety laws and checks.
