Description
Pride month is a time of action, organizing and PARTIES! Join with other queer and trans folks for a pride season hike. Come meet folks, make a new friend and relax in the nourishment of nature. We will have some loosely structured activities along the trail to facilitate connection with the land and with each other. Come bring your heart, bring your offerings and connect with other queers in the tender embrace of the land.
Convened and very gently facilitated by Devlyn Bohman, Herbal Chaplain and Wilderness First Responder.
This walk is by dana or by donation. All proceeds will benefit the Transgender Spiritual Care Initiative, a project building solidarity and teaching cis people how to fight for and with our communities. Your donation will help fund this work. And no donation is required.
Accessiblity Info: The walk will span 2-3 miles with approximately 400-600 feet of elevation gain along rolling hills. The path offers a rhythm of gentle ascent and descent. Please bring layers and a water bottle, so you may be comfortable with the changing weather as we walk together. We also may have a brief period of sitting on the ground so you may want to bring a cushon or sweater to sit on.
