The Nelson Theatre Collective is thrilled to present “Prima Facie” at the Suter Theatre!
Join us for this gripping play where Tessa, a young and brilliant barrister, rises from her working-class roots to the pinnacle of her profession. She excels in defending, cross-examining, and winning cases. However, an unexpected event forces her to confront the patriarchal power of the law, where the burden of proof and morality diverge. Tessa finds herself in a world where emotion and integrity clash with the rules of the game.
“Prima Facie” was named Best New Play in London in 2023.
