Event description

CHAC Primary is holding our first Japanese Cultural Day on Thursday 16 September 2021. This event is an exciting opportunity for students and parents to participate in a range of activities that celebrate all things Japanese - including traditional food, language, games, and culture. Students will rotate through six different activities within their House groups, exploring the art of Daruma and Hachimaki making, onigiri, Japanese dance, and a variety of games. The day will commence at 9.10am and conclude at 2.15pm. Parents are welcome to join their student for all or part of the day. This is a free event but RSVPs are essential and parents are asked to check in using the QR code on arrival, wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
