The cost of a human life
Join us in the Primary Ethics Cafe for a discussion facilitated by our experienced trainer Peter Foster. Peter will lead us through a session based on our high school pilot curriculum - these are the questions we've especially been pondering during the pandemic, but the health system has to ask these questions all the time:
- how and why governments do place specific monetary values on human life?
- how do we choose the right value to place on a human life?
- What is opportunity cost as a way of framing decisions about cost of human lives?
