Pride Event

7:00pm, Monday 25 August 2025 – Wheelers Hill Campus Library

Part of the 2025 Principal’s Event Series

I am pleased to invite you to our upcoming Pride Month Event, part of our 2025 Principal’s Event Series—a program of thoughtful and inclusive conversations that explore the issues that matter most to our students, families, and broader community. We’re delighted to welcome Daniel Cash—a bold and articulate young voice in Australian media.

This event will be held in the Wheelers Hill Campus Library - relaxed, personal, and welcoming. Daniel will share his story, followed by an open Q&A with the audience.

This is a free community event, open to students, staff, families, and alumni.

We warmly encourage you to attend and be part of this important evening of visibility, connection, and courageous conversation.

About Daniel Cash

Daniel Cash is a fresh and articulate voice in Australia’s media and education landscape, celebrated for his advocacy on inclusion, identity, and youth leadership. In 2023 he served as School Captain of Melbourne Grammar School, using that platform to challenge discriminatory attitudes and champion a culture where every student can belong. His open letter in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald—and subsequent appearances on ABC Radio and The Project—sparked national conversation about LGBTQIA+ students in leadership.

A prolific young writer, Daniel contributes opinion pieces to The Age, The Australian Financial Review, and The Canberra Times, offering a Gen Z perspective on social policy, gender equality, and mental health. His commentary has also featured across WA Today, Brisbane Times, 3AW, and other ACM outlets.

Alongside his media work, Daniel is an Associate at Encour, a communications firm where he helps organisations craft compelling narratives, and he is currently studying Law at the Australian National University. His role on the advisory panel of Australian Dialogues underscores his commitment to bridging generational voices in public debate.

Whether speaking to school audiences, appearing on national television, or consulting with community groups, Daniel brings warmth, clarity, and lived experience to every conversation—inviting Australians of all ages to listen deeply, think critically, and advance a more inclusive future.
