Print + Sip Botanical Printmaking Workshop with Sienna Blok

Want to try your hand at printmaking while enjoying a complimentary glass of bubbles? Join local artist and printmaker Sienna Blok at The Hahndorf Academy on beautiful Peramangk Land (Adelaide Hills) for a relaxed, hands-on session where nature and creativity meet.

As part of this special workshop, we’ll begin by strolling through the Hahndorf Academy gardens to gather local botanical samples. These leaves, flowers, and seed pods will become your inspiration, connecting your designs directly to the beauty of our local environment.

Back in the studio, you’ll learn the basics of linocut printmaking and create your own botanical-inspired prints to take home. Perfect for beginners, this workshop is all about having fun, experimenting with simple techniques, and discovering the magic of printmaking.

No experience needed — just bring your creativity, and we’ll provide everything else. You’ll receive step-by-step guidance on designing, carving, inking, and printing onto eco-friendly Japanese washi paper.

You’ll have the opportunity to create two designs and print two copies of each, taking home a total of four original, handmade prints.
