Printmaking with Upcycled Materials Workshop
Event description
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create their own printmaking designs using upcycled materials such as cardboard, yarn, corks, plastic, and more. After constructing your printing “plates”, you will pull your own unique prints on sustainably sourced paper and other surfaces to take home. Gain skills in the basics of the printing process to continue on your own at home!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.

About the Instructor
Jennie Tudor Gray is a professional artist and art educator with over thirty years of experience creating and teaching art. She graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Studio Art and All level art teaching certification. She rarely sticks with any one medium and enjoys creating mixed media work while incorporating recycled and found objects such as altered books. She has taught in public schools, private schools, art museums, arts and cultural centers, nonprofits, and community based art.
