Clayton Tremlett's portrait studies of the Digger memorial sculpted figures of unknown soldiers comes to this extraordinary venue, in the historic Mysia War Memorial School, 20 minutes from Wedderburn with a century of memories cared for by the small community. Bringing his pop-up printmaking studio to Mysia, on Saturday 4 October, Clayton will run one of his acclaimed one-day workshops, an absolutely unique opportunity to learn this skill from a master, in a venue unlike any other. All materials are supplied, except your curiosity and creativity. You'll learn the essential elements of linocut printmaking and portraiture. Bring along your portrait of choice, refine your image, transfer to a lino block, carve and then print your linocut portrait onto archival printmaking paper. Refreshments provided, but please bring your lunch, and arrive about a half hour before the start of the workshop at 10am, which runs through to 4pm. The Mysia War Memorial School is on Days Road just off the Boort-Wedderburn Rd. It wlll be a truly unforgettable day.
