Printmaking Workshop with Robert Ives
Event description
This half-day introduction to relief printing will cover a number of the most used printmaking techniques. You will use water based ink and printing will be done by hand. The printing block size will be 80x80mm MDF. All materials and equipment will be supplied.
You will find your results in this class very interesting and rewarding, taking home a number of your own success stories!
About Robert Ives
Robert learnt printmaking at East Sydney Tech College, now the National Art School, and this has remained his specialist area of work and teaching. He has taught printmaking at the National Art School, Waverley Woollahra Art School, Workshop Art Centre at Willoughby and others. He has been on the Board of Waverley Woollahra Art School and Workshop Art Centre Willoughby.
A few notes
- The makings for basic tea and coffee will be provided.
- Parking can be challenging (some spaces at Clifton School of Arts)
- No 2 bus stops directly outside Clifton School of Arts.
- Class size limited to 10. Registrations close 14 July.
- Class will start promptly at 10am.
