Priority One Annual General Meeting 2026
Join us at our AGM
Priority One's 2026 AGM: 25 years behind us and a bold future ahead
You're invited to attend our 2026 Annual General Meeting. This year will be a little different – as we celebrate 25 years of Priority One, we’ll reflect on some of the people, partnerships and achievements that have shaped our organisation and the Western Bay of Plenty’s economic development story.
But we’re just as interested in what comes next and there's plenty of collective hope for what the Western Bay could be, so we’ve challenged five guest speakers to forget today’s constraints and imagine the Western Bay in 2050. What could fundamentally change about this place, and the way we live, work and connect here?
Their bold ideas for the region’s future will be brought to life through AI-generated artwork, with each speaker taking us inside their vision. There are no plans to defend or policies to promote or constraints to work around – it's an opportunity to think big, challenge assumptions and consider possibilities we might not otherwise imagine.
Because if the past 25 years have shown us anything, it’s what can happen when people across our region come together around shared hope and ambition.
Join us to celebrate where we’ve come from, imagine where we could go next, and help build excitement for the Western Bay’s next chapter.
