Join us for a night with Chef Scott McKinnon, expecting a 4- course meal of Bold Bites of Summer inspired menu, fine food and community.

Here at The 5 Club our pillars are for culture, community, creativity, conversation and cuisine. Introducing communities to dinner parties that align with our mission of connection; connecting passion and food, conversation and culture.

Each night is special as each chef curates a menu designed for 25 special guests per evening. Inspired by appetite meeting art. We want to provide community-driven nights where people with intentions of making friends, learning new cuisines and engaging in being present to explore meaningful connections with others.

We are not only hosting dinners, we are shaping experiences. So, we highly encourage solo diners to come out! :)

On the Menu,

  1. SHRIMPLY SUMMER. Avocado mousse, Grilled Shrimp, Golden Maiz. Lime Zest

  2. POTATO LATKE ROYALE. Garlic butter poached crab, Mignonette, Fresno Chiles, Crème Fraiche, Caviar.

  3. CHARRED FLANK & MELON FRESCA. Hickory Grilled Flank Steak, Black Bean Puree, Pickled red onion, chimichurri, watermelon feta salad.

  4. CHEF SCOTTY MAC'S BOOZY SHAKE. Vanilla Ice cream, Frangelico, Crème De Cacao, Shaved dark chocolate, Mint.

What To Expect:

  • 2 and 30 minute event to connect, conversate and enjoy cuisine.

  • A 4-course meal curated by Chef Scott McKinnon as he presents each dish and discusses the inspiration behind them.

  • Alcohol & Mocktail beverages.

  • Hosted at private venue in the DFW.

Ticket prices are all- inclusive of food, drinks, tax and gratuity.*

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Doors will open promptly at 6:30pm to guest. We encourage early arrival to experience our rotating appetizer and to mingle with other attendees. We will close doors at 7:00pm with no late entrees due to the nature of the event.

At 8:30pm dinner will end allowing 30 minutes for guests to talk to chef, ask questions and conversate with others.

MEET THE CHEF

Scott’s culinary roots run deep—his Great Grandfather owned five restaurants across Houston and Dallas, and his love for cooking began early as a self-taught latchkey kid. Influenced by cherished memories in the kitchen with his Grandmother, Scott carries on family recipes and traditions that celebrate culture and heritage. For years, he balanced a successful Sales & Marketing career while being the go-to cook for family and community gatherings. In 2023, he transformed his lifelong passion into a full-time culinary career, offering unique food experiences that bring people together. His talent led to appearances on MasterChef with Gordon Ramsay and as the Celebrity Chef for the Dallas Cowboys’ Stadium Club on Thanksgiving. Today, Chef Scotty Mac continues to build community through cuisine, creating weekly curated menus at Southlake’s Roots & Water wine club that blend storytelling, flavor, and connection.
