Private Telescope Viewing at Mt. Wilson Observatory

Atheists United invites you to a private telescope viewing at Mount Wilson Observatory. (ONLY 22 TICKETS AVAILABLE!)

Join us for an hour-long docent-led tour of Mt. Wilson Observatory (home of some of the most important telescopes in the development of modern astronomy) followed by 5-hours of private viewing through the 60-inch telescope used by Hubble, Baade, and Sandage to unravel secrets of the cosmos.

During our private telescope viewing party we'll be guided by a Mount Wilson astronomer and docent who can answer any and all questions you have about the universe!

Bring some snacks, a cozy blanket, and enjoy the complementary hot chocolate for this once in a life time experience.

This event also serves as a fundraiser for Atheists United. Ticket income will be split between event costs at Mount Wilson AND our 2027 costs for our Secular Youth Group. (Don't you wish every nonprofit hosted such unique fundraising experiences!)

Notes:

• Observatory is not ADA compliant and you'll need to be able to climb many stairs to access the telescope

• Parking is limited to only 10 cars on site. We will be coordinating a carpool and you must participate if able.

• Refunds not available within 7 days of the events.

• Event will be at night, at high altitude, with no heating/ac. Please dress accordingly.

• Snacks welcome.
