Event description

Join us for an exclusive hands-on photography workshop with Australia’s best hospitality photographer, Christopher Pearce, in collaboration with Fontaine, Nikon, and Profoto, hosted by Georges Cameras.

This immersive 4-hour experience will give attendees a real-world look at creating an ad campaign—from concept to final image—working with an actual client, Fontaine Beer. You'll see how Chris crafts a professional shoot, experiment with Nikon cameras and Profoto lighting, and capture stunning visuals. Plus, enjoy a cold Fontaine beer fresh from our taps, featuring the very product you're photographing!

The workshop wraps up with a Q&A session, and for industry professionals looking to connect, there's a bonus social hour (free for community members).

Don't miss this chance to elevate your photography, network with industry pros, and enjoy great beer!

Chris Pearce:

Christopher Pearce is an acclaimed commercial and advertising photographer known for his striking imagery and masterful use of light. With a career spanning over two decades, Christopher has worked with some of the world's leading brands, creating compelling visual narratives that bring products and concepts to life.

Featured Brand: FONTAINE

Fontaine designs most of its bottled beers to be enjoyed with food, encouraging consumers to appreciate beer as something to savor—whether in a fine dining restaurant or at a casual dinner with friends.

Owner and head brewer Marshall has been brewing since 2017. His rapid success and multiple awards can be attributed, in part, to his background in food product development and his Degree in Chemistry. Drawing inspiration from years of travel across Europe and the USA, Marshall combines classic brewing traditions with a modern approach, creating beers that are both timeless and innovative.

Where to park?
There’s plenty of street parking around the studio, and if that’s full, you’ll usually find space at Bunnings or Woolworths just across the road (also a good excuse to grab a snack or last-minute plant).

Important note: Google Maps likes to play games—it often drops people at the back of the complex. We are Unit 27, but don’t let that fool you: we’re actually the second unit in the main front section of the complex, not hiding out in the far corners.

Please don’t park in the warehouse bays inside the complex (we know they look tempting), as they’re reserved for loading and you might end up making friends with a forklift. Parking is at your own discretion—we can’t be held responsible for any parking fines, tow trucks, or passive-aggressive notes left on windscreens.
