Event description

Come explore space with us! Over three playful mornings tamariki will imagine, create and paint their own cosmic world — from cardboard helmets and rockets to sculpted alien friends, galaxy paintings and shimmering jars holding the universe. Every day includes a calm collaborative welcome, open-ended making, time to play and recharge, and gentle reflections.

Day 1 - Make Your Own Space Helmet or Rocket!

Day 2 - Create Alien Friends Using Polymer Clay!

Day 3 - Make a Galaxy Painting & Galaxy Jar!

Each day includes:

  • a relaxed collaborative art project to settle into the morning and connect with each other

  • a hands-on making experience with a range of recycled + art materials

  • mini projects

  • plenty of opportunities for children to make their own choices, supporting confidence & agency

  • time and resources to play & recharge

  • a gentle wind-down activity

  • guided reflection at the end of the session to solidify learnings

Open-ended, child-led and deeply creative. No instructions or perfection needed, just your child’s imagination and willingness to play.

Additional Learning & Support Needs. Our programme is designed to support a wide range of learners. If your child requires extra assistance, we encourage the involvement of a parent, guardian, or support person during sessions. This ensures every child can fully benefit from the experience.

Designed for every child who loves making, crafting and tinkering.

Bring snacks, a water bottle and clothes that can get creatively messy!
