Online Workshop: Producing for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Are you taking your first show to the Edinburgh Fringe this year? Maybe you're planning ahead for the future? Or maybe you've been before but you just want to hear more about the nuts and bolts?

This workshop will run through everything you need to give your show the best chance of success, from the idea itself, to finding the right venue and most importantly finding the right audience. We'll also cover how you might try to finance a fringe run, how you might attract press attention to your show and what success looks like in August in Edinburgh!

Emma Ruse

Emma is Chief Executive and co-founder of Framework Theatre Company, Scotland's Support Organisation for emerging and early-career theatre makers. They are also a freelance theatre producer and director through Emma Ruse Productions, as well as Company Assistant at Stellar Quines. They specialise in queer and feminist new writing, and prioritise access, fair work and care in all their projects.
