Productive farming with frogs, reptiles and a healthy ecosystem

Join North West Local Land Services (LLS) for a full-day demonstration day to learn about habitat improvement and ecosystem monitoring on farms, featuring a local case study on what frogs are telling us on farms.

Event details:

The event will provide useful information on monitoring frogs and reptiles on farms, creating a frog pond, and how North West LLS has been working with landholders to improve farm habitat to support native biodiversity.

• Reptile-friendly farm, by Martin Dillon, Northern Tablelands LLS

• How Local Land Services support improving farm habitat and enhancing biodiversity, by Angela Baker, North West LLS

On-farm demonstration:

• Explore findings from recent on-farm biodiversity monitoring across the North West region.

• Learn how to create a frog pond and improve habitat for frogs in paddocks and farm dams.
