Event description
In this FOUR CLASS SERIES you will learn the basics of how to build and decorate a cake like a professional! This class will be taught by Chef K, Lauren Kmiecik, a professionally trained pastry chef and instructor.
We will start with hose to build and ice a cake, free of crumbs, and how to incorporate multiple fillings inside.Â
We will then move on to all things piping! Â Students will learn what different piping tips can do and get the opportunity to practice various techniques with the help and guidance of the instructor. At the conclusion of this class, students will take home a piping practice sheet and icing you they can learn to practice their skills at home.
In the third week, students will take what they have learned so far and execute a simple cake design from start to finish. Â
In the final class, we will cover how to construct a 2 tiered cake, and each student will have the chance to build and decorate their own 2 tiered cake as their final project.
We will be limited this class size to ensure each student has ample one on one time with Chef K!
