General Public - Drop In Session ticket
This ticket type allows ticket holders access ONE soft skills OR tech taster session. Soft skills sessions prepare attendees for understanding mindful communication in professional settings and give attendees the tools to socially succeed in corporate and interview settings. Tech taster sessions prepare attendees for the type of challenges and skills commonly faced in tech roles. It is also an opportunity for IT students to learn what roles exist for their degree outside of the popularly advertised software developer roles. QUT TECH MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SESSIONS 1. Access to Soft/Social Skills and Technical Taster Sessions By registering for any session, including but not limited to the Soft Skills and Tech Tasters Season Pass, Soft Skills Season Pass, Tech Tasters Season Pass, and Drop In Pass, you acknowledge that you are a General Public attendee, QUT TECH member, or Volunteer, and agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions regarding attendance and refunds. 2. No Refunds Policy Refunds will not be provided for any reason, including but not limited to: Failure to attend any session(s) in full. Partial attendance (for example, leaving a session early or arriving late). Change of mind. Any unforeseen circumstances preventing attendance. By registering, you understand that non-attendance, regardless of the reason, will not result in a refund. 3. Cancellations or Non-Attendance If you do not attend a session, no refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be granted. We encourage all participants to commit to the full schedule of any registered sessions to ensure the best learning experience. 4. No Show Policy Participants who do not show up to the session(s) they have registered for, without prior notice, will not be eligible for a refund or alternative sessions. 5.
