Professional Practice Series | Documenting and Reporting

This 90-minute webinar builds direct service staff’s understanding and confidence about what should be documented and reported.

The session covers:

• The difference between subjective and objective reporting
• Who needs to document information and when
• How do we know what to report and document
• The benefits of using templates
• What is verbatim reporting and why it’s important
• How can documentation provide a record of events and clarity of a situation.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss their experiences and seek feedback from the facilitator and other group members.

They’ll also receive resources, tools and links to further information.

Who’s it for
Staff who work directly with clients and carers in CHSP-funded programs. This includes support workers, direct care workers, social support staff and allied health assistants.
