As you approach the completion of your Bachelor of Health Sciences, this interactive workshop provides an opportunity to reflect on your professional identity, reconnect with your professional purpose, and consider the many ways your knowledge and skills can be applied beyond university.

Building on the Professional Purpose activities completed in HEA20007, including your Professional Purpose Statement and Flexible Career Learning Plan, the session will support you to explore career pathways, strengthen your professional networks, articulate your unique strengths and experiences, and develop a practical action plan for your transition beyond graduation.

Whether you have a clear career direction or are still exploring your options, this workshop is designed to help you better understand who you are becoming as a health professional and how you can take purposeful next steps towards your future career.

The workshop will be facilitated in partnership with the Careers Team and is designed to support students from all Health Sciences majors.

As part of the session, students will also be invited to participate in a research study exploring the development of professional identity, professional purpose, and future career pathways among Bachelor of Health Sciences students. Participation in the research component is entirely voluntary, and students will be provided with further information before deciding whether they wish to take part.

Catering will be provided, please advise of any dietary requirements.
