ProgFest Vol 3
Description
ProgFest Vol 3 - a music lovers utopia. Feed your soul on 7 bands of varying progressive styles, across 2 stages. Featuring well established and emerging new talents of:
Daniel Wiggins Group - a dynamic and versatile rock fusion trio hailing from Fremantle. With a repertoire of original vocal and instrumental music, the group blend elements of progressive rock, jazz and funk music.
Winter on Venus - a sonic excavation of grief, violence and transcendence filtered through asymmetrical rhythmic architecture and emotionally weaponised ambience. Emerging from the windswept metaphysical wasteland of Perth, the band fuses tectonic low-end density, ritualistic polyrhythms and cinematic melancholy into an experience described by absolutely nobody as “easy listening.”
Ammify - progressive-cinematic sensations with vocals led by the incredible Ammify Phoenix (and her very cool key-tar!)
Meka - instrumental post-rock/metal who recently re-emerged with some incredible new tunes.... watch this space
Magic Chicken Fudgetoe - fitting into this lineup due to their unique fusion of stoner metal with thrash & grunge elements - and a stage prescence to match
MilkyWay - a 3-piece progressive metal outfit, making their mark with their distinctive blend of math rock, trap, and rap influences. MILKYWAY combines intricate rhythms and emotive melodies with modern production techniques - for fans of TesseracT, Animals and Leaders
Securus - burst onto stages in perth recently, blending heavy metal riffs with melodic vocals, electronic ambience, and funk grooves.
