Programmatic assessment with eportfolio thinking webinar
Event description
The ePortfolios Australia Organising Committee are pleased to announce our next webinar for 2024:
Programmatic assessment with eportfolio thinking
4 July 2024 – 7.00 pm-8.15 pm
Generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) offers great opportunities in learning and teaching, however, it is also contributing to existing assessment integrity challenges within higher education.
TEQSA, Australia’s higher education quality assurance and regulator, has provided guiding principles on how higher education providers could approach this issue through the ‘Assessment reform for the age of artificial intelligence’ document.
Taking an eportfolio approach in learning and teaching offers a dynamic method to support programmatic assessment. By integrating eportfolios practices, Australian universities and higher education providers can move beyond traditional assessment methods to a more holistic approach that captures a wide range of student learning experiences which demonstrates their program learning outcomes.
This webinar will highlight and showcase how an eportfolio approach to programmatic assessment supports TEQSA’s guiding principles through presentations by academics and learning designers using eportfolio approaches in this way.
