Project Girlhood Community Forum: Barriers in Women's Healthcare
Event description
We’re hosting a powerful community forum that brings together young women across Sydney to unpack the real barriers women face in healthcare. From reproductive health to neurodiversity in women, mental health, and accessibility in diagnosis, this forum is all about creating space for honest conversations and collective solutions.
💬 Expect roundtable discussions, lived experience storytelling, and meaningful insights from a women's health specialist. We’re not just talking – we’re building community, sharing resources and learning how to advocate for ourselves and others.
🎥 Media is at the heart of this event. We’ll have a dedicated media station where professional interns and content creators will help turn your thoughts and ideas into powerful social media content, campaigns and community messages. Whether you want to speak, create, design or reflect. Your voice matters, and we want to amplify it both on social media and in the community. Passionate participants will be invited to share their insights and experiences on the Girlhood Podcast, which is professionally filmed and video-graphed for all social media platforms.
Ladies, this is your safe space to be heard, find solutions, express your experiences, and build impactful systems change.
