Moderna mRNA Vaccine Facility

The mRNA vaccine facility is being established under a 10-year partnership between Moderna and the Australian and Victorian Governments and is expected to be the first facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

Multiplex Constructions have been appointed as Managing Contractor for the project. Most work packages available for expression of interest revolve around the construction of the building and fit out of the general commercial areas inside. Some work packages will be required to conduct works inside the pharmaceutical laboratories such as the services packages.

Work packages with opportunities for sub-trades and trades are still available, with opportunities for indigenous business in sub trades. There are also balance of construction considerations, with further supply chain opportunities in the future. Certain works on site have already commenced.

Moderna,  Multiplex and Linesight will host an information session showcasing opportunities for capable local industry partners to participate in the project work packages. Attend to learn more about the respective work packages, delivery timelines, project opportunities and how to submit an Expression of Interest.
