Project Search Internship Opportunity: UOW Pulse
Description
Project SEARCH is a 9-month, site-based unpaid internship program delivered at UOW Pulse, supporting young adults with disability to gain real, hands-on work experience and build pathways to open employment.
Participants complete a series of workplace rotations within the organisation, supported by job coaches and host supervisors, to develop practical skills, confidence and independence in a real workplace environment.

Duration: 9 months
Days: Monday to Thursday
Time: 9.30am - 2:00pm
Location: UOW Pulse

Job-specific equipment and technology
Workplace communication and teamwork
Routines and systems
Accountability and time management
Safe work practices in a production environment
Building confidence in real workplace settings
Understanding employer expectations
The program is NDIS-supported and delivered by The Disability Trust in partnership with UOW Pulse, with on-site coaching and structured support throughout the internship.
