Prologue Gallery: NOIR
Arts, Culture, and Immersive Dining
Prologue presents The Gallery, an immersive culinary art exhibition where chefs and artists interpret a shared idea through food, visual art, architecture, and music.
For its latest exhibition, Prologue enters the shadowy world of NOIR, exploring temptation, deception, and ambiguity through the psychological intrigue and striking visual language of classic film noir. Set against a tale of forbidden love, compromised morals, and uncertain truths, an interactive three-course dinner and the work of collaborating Cleveland artists invite guests into a world where desire clouds judgment, appearances deceive, and nothing is quite what it seems

Course List
Course List
Love Bomb unfolds across three core courses, with an optional Prologue and Epilogue extending the narrative before and after dinner.
Inspired by classic film noir, the menu follows a private investigator whose pursuit of the truth becomes entangled in a dangerous romance, where desire compromises judgment and appearances cannot be trusted.
Prologue Add-On: “Not So Black-and-White”
A private investigator is hired to investigate the widow of a businessman murdered via car bomb. A mysterious case begins with more questions than answers.
Course One: “Femme Fatale”
The investigator falls for the woman he's meant to investigate. Guests are invited to abandon convention and surrender to desire, just as his judgment begins to falter.
Course Two: “The Cover-Up”
Blinded by love, the investigator conceals evidence that could implicate the woman. A monochromatic sauce hides the truth beneath its surface.
Course Three: “Smoke & Mirrors”
With her name cleared, the investigator imagines a future together. A dessert disguised as a cigar and whiskey challenges the distinction between appearance and reality.
Epilogue Add-On: “The Shattered Illusion”
The woman vanishes, leaving the investigator alone with his compromised morals and unanswered questions. A delicate dessert adorned with broken sugar glass marks the collapse of his imagined future.
Ingredients will be announced closer to the exhibition date.

Chef Logan Neisel: The Love Bomb
Chef Logan “Lone” Neisel, founder of Prologue, interprets the exhibition through Love Bomb, an interactive culinary crime drama inspired by classic film noir. Through a progression of temptation, deception, and ambiguity, each course draws guests deeper into a world where love compromises judgment, morality becomes negotiable, and appearances cannot be trusted.
About The Gallery
The Gallery is Prologue’s recurring exhibition series built around the belief that cuisine can function as an artistic medium alongside painting, sculpture, architecture, music, and design.
Each exhibition begins with a shared theme. Chefs and artists working in different disciplines are invited to interpret that idea independently, allowing guests to experience how the same source of inspiration can take radically different forms. A concept might become a dish, an installation, a painting, a piece of music, or the environment surrounding the meal.
Rather than treating dinner as an accompaniment to an exhibition, The Gallery brings each discipline into the same creative conversation. Guests move through the exhibition encountering these interpretations together, with cuisine becoming one part of a larger artistic experience.
Each exhibition introduces a new theme, new collaborators, and new ways of exploring the connections between food, art, culture, and the ideas that inspire people to create.
Gallery Theme
Our latest exhibition of The Gallery explores temptation, deception, and ambiguity through the psychological tension and visual language of classic film noir.
At its center is the fragile relationship between appearance and reality—how desire can overcome reason, how easily the truth can be concealed, and how uncertainty shapes our perception of the world around us. Through a progression of immersive culinary experiences and visual art, NOIR invites guests to question what they see, what they believe, and whether the truth is ever quite what it seems.
