Promoting Gender Equality in Communications, Marketing and Advertising Campaigns

Delivered by Women’s Health Victoria (as part of the shEqual project) this online workshop aims to build the capacity of health promotion, gender equity, communication and media professionals, to embed gender equality in communications.

This session will cover the following topics:

• Sexism and how it occurs in advertising and communications.
• The health impacts of sexist advertising and communications, and how this contributes to gender inequality.
• How to take action to reduce sexist advertising and communication content.
• An introduction to tools and resources for creating inclusive content and campaigns.
