Evelyn Lan and Josh Davey bring community art-making & experimentation to Eveleigh Hotel on Saturday May 23rd.
Available to all attendees will be a careful curation of electronic and acoustic instruments, and with the inspiration of evocative puzzle pieces - the 'prompts for people'- you will help us bring ambient music to life with everyone around you.

The Eveleigh hotel is a short walk away from Redfern train station. “Prompts for People” will be held in the upstairs room, which is only accessible via two short flights of stairs
At this event, you can expect a consistent low-level ambient composition to run through the entire event. As participants are given freedom to improvise, some aurally overwhelming sounds may occur due to the nature of the acoustic instruments, as well as potentially unsettling overlapping of multiple sound sources at once. The event will be held in low lighting, with no strobe or flashing effects used.
