Ice cream on a summer day, your morning coffee, all-American apple pie...in today's world, sugar is everywhere. It makes our lives sweeter, but how much did it cost? And who paid the price? 

Flatbush Community Theater and Prospect Park Alliance are proud to present Sugar Shock - a one-act play which travels through centuries to tell American stories undergirded by a questionable sweetness.

Content Warning: the play includes a brief scene involving sexual misconduct and a derogatory slur. Viewer discretion is advised, especially for younger audiences.
