Protecting Native Grasslands: Wildflowers and Weeds
Description

This interactive event invites landholders, Traditional Owners, and interested community members to identify native wildflowers and manage invasive weeds while celebrating the cultural and ecological significance of these unique landscapes.
Through a guided walk and presentation, participants will gain valuable knowledge about grassland conservation and discover how collaborative partnerships are helping restore and protect these rare and threatened ecosystems across Wadawurrung Country.
The event will include a site visit to a grassland restoration project, presentations from grassland experts, and opportunities to connect with others committed to protecting native grasslands for future generations.
