Description
Thank you for taking the time to express interest in Protective Behaviours Parent Workshop, we really appreciate it, and we’re glad you’re thinking of joining us.
When you book through Humanitix, it will be recorded as an expression of interest.
Midvale Hub Parenting Service is funded by the Department of Communities to support parents and carers living in the local government areas of Mundaring, Swan, Bassendean and Bayswater.
All parents and caregivers are welcome, we value diversity and inclusion from all cultural backgrounds, family types, and abilities.
Protective Behaviours is a personal safety program that teaches children skills and strategies to recognise and respond to unsafe situations.
By sharing Protective Behaviours with your child, you will be helping to develop lifelong skills of assertiveness, self-confidence, problem-solving, communication, and resilience.
The program is underpinned by two core themes.
"We all have the right to feel safe at all times."
This theme emphasises the inherent right of every individual, especially children, to feel safe in their environments.
"We can talk with someone about anything, no matter what it is."
This theme fosters open communication, assuring children that they can discuss any topic with a trusted adult without fear of judgment.
Held at ERICA Women's Centre (Women Only Venue)

Tuesday 3 November, 2026
