It’s All About Particles reveals the interdisciplinarity of Cloud 9, along with its spine enabling biology, nature, ecology and synthetic landscapes.
The strong relationship between digital + tangible processes of design, embracing tradition and innovation, a time performance of making, produces an added value of innovation.
The new game, the new economy of rights, became aligned with the condition of ownership of innovation, an ecology of construction and waste in a industry that is the first cause of global warming and must act to be sustainable, resilient, facing post Anthropocene, and mutating from cause to solution.
The outcome is a performative architecture that we understand as a reality of moving particles - where time is an input of design, not an output, and where the scale of architecture changes from a human scale or an object scale to a material scale, then into a molecular scale.
Cloud 9’s architecture articulates this particle theory by going from the visualization of landscapes to the design of space, from the construction of new materials to a new understanding of a relationship between interior and exterior.
The dissertation has an end game, that is to celebrate the design, the pursuit of indeterminacy and parametricism, all at once.
The indeterminate outcome will be some sort of abstraction, for others it will be a sort of Catalan poetry, but in all of them is an attempt to embrace Indeterminacy to align to Nature.
You will see a synthetic landscape, where all is void, and particles are entangled.
If you are unable to attend in person please note that this examination will be available via live stream at this link.
