    Event description

Psychedelic medicine has been in the news. Australia has made dramatic changes to allow MDMA and psilocybin to be used for depression and PTSD, while record amounts of research are being undertaken globally.

Guy Moore has worked in clinical research for 5 years and holds postgraduate qualifications in public health. He has also been a political campaigner and patient advocate in psychedelic medicine, and lived on traditional plant medicine retreats in Peru.

    The topics covered will include

    • What is psychedelic medicine and how it works
    • The state of the research
    • How Australian patients can access it
    • The risks involved

He'll explain the state of the research, some of the pathways to access psychedelic medicine, and paint an accurate picture of the risks involved. This course is for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal or medical advice.
