With increasing legislative and regulatory focus on the psychological safety of workers while at work, now is the time for employers to review their existing hazard identification and risk management frameworks, and to determine whether they are taking all reasonably practicable steps to ensure they are providing a safe working environment.

Psychosocial hazards are those which could cause psychological harm to employees and include things like a poor physical environment, inadequate support, job demands and stress, bullying and harassment, as well as sexual harassment. Ensuring the psychological health and safety of workers is your responsibility as an employer and if a risk management system for psychosocial hazards is not proactively implemented you may be exposing your business to criminal liability.

However, management of these hazards presents unique challenges for employers, and traditional approaches to risk management are likely to fall short of the standards now expected by regulators.

understand your legal obligations, and the sources of those obligations,
identify psychosocial and other hazards in the workplace,
assess the risks which arise from those hazards, including risks to psychological health and wellbeing,
identify and implement control measures,
maintain and review the suitability of existing control measures, and
engage in effective consultation with your workforce.

What's the refund policy?

Participants will receive a full refund if they cancel at least seven (7) business days prior to the scheduled event. However, if participants cancel less than seven (7) business days before the event, no refund will be made. The place can be transferred to another member of the paid organisation. No-shows or cancellations after 7 days will receive the course training material and supporting documents. If there are insufficient participants, we reserve the right to cancel the event and participants will be transferred to another module of equal value or receive a full refund at their election. We will give three business days’ notice of any such cancellation.
