Join Duncan Cotterill, in collaboration with Clearhead, for a discussion on psychosocial risk management and its growing importance as a patient safety, workforce wellbeing and governance issue. This session will explore how healthcare leaders can move beyond compliance-focused approaches to create healthier, safer and more sustainable organisations.

Facilitated by Simone Tune, Special Counsel at Duncan Cotterill, the panel will feature
Dr Angela Lim, CEO & Founder of Clearhead, Dr Joanna Sinclair, Chief Wellbeing Officer, Te Whatu Ora and Emma Maddren Chief Executive Officer, Mercy Hospice, who will share practical insights from legal, governance and operational perspectives on managing psychosocial risks in complex healthcare environments.

You will learn:

  • How psychosocial hazards impact workforce wellbeing, organisational performance and patient outcomes

  • What effective psychosocial risk management looks like in practice, including proactive and measurable approaches

  • Why psychosocial risk should be viewed as a key governance, employment and patient safety issue

  • Practical lessons from healthcare leaders on identifying and managing psychosocial risks in complex operating environments
