Event description

Psychosocial Safety is a proactive management process that identifies and reduces exposure to psychosocial hazards that could lead to psychological and/or physical injury. Everyone has the right to a psychologically safe work environment, including unpaid volunteers.

In this webinar, we delve into psychosocial safety within the volunteer context. We will guide you through Safe Work Australia’s four step risk management process; Identify, Assess, Control and Review. This framework will help you eliminate or reduce hazards affecting your volunteers. Additionally, we will discuss strategies for addressing any psychological or physical injuries reported by volunteers.
