Public Art Treasure Hunt #12 – Ginninderry
Event description
Have you noticed that moss shaped like a goat in Paddys Park? That moss – along with many other pieces of underlooked beauty – is about to be transformed into a piece of valuable art. All thanks to the power of little white gallery labels. And your help...
YOUR MISSION
>> Come to Treasure Hunt Headquarters (at The Link) anytime between 11am and 3pm.
>> Claire and Pablo from PeopleLab will give you a treasure map, and a gallery label to stick somewhere in the local area.
>> Use the treasure map to find the interesting object that matches your label, and attach it.
>> Return to headquarters to claim your prize (a really nice leaf)!
PLUS... There will be FREE BARISTA COFFEE and a FREE KITE MAKING activity from our friends at Kite Magic! Get fuelled up, go hunting, win a leaf, build a kite. What a day.
FREE to enter. All ages and abilities welcome. You can hunt solo or as a group. Invite your friends!
“I loved seeing the beauty in the little things we never notice. The labels draw other people’s attention to the beauty too!”
- Happy customer from previous hunt
We'll provide hand sanitiser and sunscreen, and will be following ACT Health COVID-19 guidelines for your safety. If you have cold or flu like symptoms please stay home.
