Public hearing: draft Plan of Management for Salt Surf Life Saving Club

The draft Plan of Management for Salt Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) and adjoining parkland is on public exhibition from Wednesday 23 October until Wednesday 4 December 2024 and residents are encouraged to have their say on Council's Your Say Tweed page.
Local residents, business and the wider community are invited to a public hearing to find out more about the proposed changes.

📅 Date: Wednesday 6 November 2024
🕠 Time: 5:30 PM start
📍 Location: Harvard Room at Council’s Tweed Heads Administration Office (Tweed Heads Civic and Cultural Centre), Tweed Heads.
An independent consultant, Sandy Hoy – Parkland Planners will coordinate the proceedings providing a presentation summarising the proposed Plan of Management amendments. Tweed Shire Council staff will also present background information and will be available to answer questions.
The consultant will then coordinate and allocate time for members of the public who are registered, to speak or ask questions.
Agenda:
- 5.30 pm - public hearing will commence
- 5.45 pm - questions and registered speakers
- 7 pm - close
Following the public hearing and public exhibition period, the consultant will document the proceedings and provide a report to Council of the public submissions made.
