The Australian Centre for Public History is partnering with the Paul Ramsay Foundation to bring you a series of events exploring the Public History of Darlinghurst. Since May 2021 we've been working on the Darlinghurst Public History Initiative, and now we are ready to share these histories with you. More info.
Community Archives
Who gets forgotten and who is heard in the historical record is partly thanks to the archive and what records have been preserved. We’ve invited some of Darlinghurst’s wonderful local archivists who are doing their best to record and uncover the many voices of those who have lived and loved in Darlinghurst. At this event you'll get to hear from Deborah Beck (NAS), Shannon Biederman (SJM), Prue Heath (SCEGGS) and Anne Cooke (St Vincent's Hospital).
