Public workshop: Languishing: Beyond the "meh"
Description
An evidence-based practical introduction to understanding and addressing languishing at work
This public workshop is shaped by Be Well Co’s research and practical work in the languishing space. It’s designed to make evidence-based wellbeing training more accessible for individuals and smaller teams, without the commitment of a full workplace program.
Many people aren’t burnt out or unwell... but they’re not feeling good or functioning well either.
Research shows that millions of Australians are currently languishing: feeling flat, disengaged, or stuck without experiencing clinical distress. In workplaces, this often goes unnoticed yet meaningfully impacts motivation, performance, and wellbeing.
In this interactive 90 minute workshop, Dr Matthew Iasiello (Head of Data & Research Translation, Be Well Co) introduces the science of languishing, the hidden but significant impact it has on workplaces, and practical, research-backed strategies to improve energy, engagement, and effectiveness at work.
Grounded in wellbeing science and Be Well Co’s research-driven approach, this session builds understanding without alarmism, stigma, or oversimplification.
