This workshop will provide an overview of what Open Access is and tips for how you can find appropriate journals to publish in. 

This workshop will cover:  

  • What is Open Access publishing 
  • Benefits of Open Access publishing 
  • Types of Open Access publishing (Green, Gold and Hybrid)  
  • How to use journal ranking tools to identify high impact Open Access publications based on discipline areas 
  • Tips for identifying predatory journals.
