Publishing in STS

Join the Sydney STS Network for a one-hour session on publishing in STS with editors from BioSocieties, Science, Technology & Human Values, Catalyst, and Science as Culture.

This event will offer practical advice on navigating the academic publishing process, including what editors look for in submissions, how different journals define their scope and audience, common pitfalls in manuscripts, strategies for increasing your chances of publication, and how to respond effectively to peer review and decision letters.

The event will be in-person at the University of Sydney, and online.

The workshop is designed for early-career researchers and PhD students working across STS, sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, history of science, feminist and gender studies, and related interdisciplinary fields.
