There is an undeniable pulse of life within all things... Including each of us,

A pulse that makes the flowers bloom,

The sun rise,

The moon swell and wane,

The tides turn,

The leaves shed to compost the soil,

The volcanoes erupt,

And this pulse is in you,

Do you know it?

Do you feel it?

The pulse of Life that moves you?

That breathes you,

That creates and destroys.

No matter your age, gender, life stage, if you are here and breathing, this pulse is in you.

How does it want to move you?

Join us to ignite, awaken, re-member the pulse of life that moves and expresses through you, so you can feel your creative power and allow this energy to flow through your life.

What to expect:

As always, we will open by welcoming our beautiful Spirit of Mama Cacao, to weave her way through the journey, bringing the energy, clarity and insights most resonant to YOU.

We then slowly flow into the Somatic Dance, beginning slow, building to a peak and gently coming back down to rest and integrate.

The space will close with a short circle and opportunity to connect with others if you choose.

This is a trauma informed, DJ'd and facilitated journey to support you to connect deeply with your body, create new movement pathways and remember the powerful creator/creatrix that you are.

There is a beautiful, supportive dance community that gathers regularly, we come together to meet ourselves and one another in all of our expressions, where there are no "right" ways to move, or steps to follow.

Whether you join us regularly, or this is your first time, all of you is welcome here!

Please bring:

-> A cushion & blanket for opening circle

-> Mug for Cacao

-> Drink bottle

Doors open at 6:15 for a 6:30 start at The Art Attic, 43 Tay St, Invercargill.
