Event description

ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY! Thursday 19th June (Week 8) @ 6:30pm

Pulteney's Year 10 & 11 Drama classes are proud to present their first productions for 2025. With a collective cast & crew of 15 talented students, this is set to be an entertaining evening of laughter and thought-provoking theatre, hosted by the 2025 PGS Drama Captains, Sophie Haarsma and Zara Pagnozzi.

Pulteney Grammar School Year 10 and 11 Drama classes are proud to present their first productions for 2025: Waiting, and the South Australian schools premiere of God of Carnage.

DATE: Thursday 19th June

VENUE: Holden Street Theatres (34 Holden St, Hindmarsh). Free parking is available onsite at the theatre, as well as the public surrounding streets.

TIME: 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Please arrive no later than 6:20pm; the bar will be open from 6:00pm for pre-show beverages, which can be brought into the theatre.

The Year 10s will first stage Waiting. In this piece, the cast will become an array of characters across twenty different scenes, all exploring the concept of waiting in some way. It's fast-paced, it's both fun and serious, and sure to entertain.

After a brief interval, the Year 11s will present Yasmina Reva's God of Carnage, a comedy of manners... just without the manners.

This is an eclectic mix of drama and comedy, showcasing the students’ versatility and collaboration. The senior Drama evening is a highly popular event in the Pulteney community, selling out before opening night -- so be sure to get your tickets quickly to avoid missing out! We would love your support in coming along, and hope to see you at the show!
