Puppet Workshop
Event description
Puppet-Making Workshop for Kids with Artist Mitchell Olson
Friday, June 10 | 1:30–3:30 PM
Roseau County Museum
Kick off the summer season with a creative, hands-on experience designed for children ages 6–12. This workshop invites young participants to craft their very own folk art hand puppet to take home. Led by Lake Bronson artist Mitchell Olson, known for his imaginative paper puppets—ranging from moose and loons to dragons and unicorns- this event offers a unique opportunity for children to explore art through storytelling and design. Olson creates each puppet without patterns, relying instead on creativity and improvisation.
This event is free to attend, but space is limited. Advance registration is highly recommended.
