frog presents: pure intentions vol. 001

pure intentions by frog.

The day series that sits on the opposite side of the stream.

Coming off our sold out Last Light Vol. 003, we wanted to explore a more intimate event series. Pure intentions was born from a desire to connect with our community in a lower stakes, more frequent context. Expect spacious, grassy listening environments - soundtracked by Eora's finest electronic artists. A space that allows people to connect over their love for good music.

We invite you to a new evening ritual. Lie down on the grass and join us till the sun goes down.

Lineup:

Ekul

Ari Kiko

Bek

Hungry Ghost

We begin with an opening set by Hungry Ghost. Expect washy ambient soundscapes, ambient textures, and dub techno to cleanse the ears and establish the evening. As the light shifts and the colours of the sunset develop across the sky, Bek brings her love for bass, breakbeat and electro, marking the turn towards nightfall as rhythms start to accelerate.

The night continues with Ari Kiko, delivering a sound characterized by a love for spacey highs and dirty lows. Blending house, breaks and warm vocals. We’ll close the evening with a deeply researched bass and breakbeat set by Ekul; co-founder of DIY collective Synergy.

Come join us for the first of this series.
