Purim 2025: Hamantaschen Baking at Emanuel Synagogue

Join us for the sweetest program in the Purim calendar: filling and folding everyone's favourite triangle-shaped treats. Pick from two Hamantaschen backing sessions to help us make the mountain of pastries we will need to feed a hungry congregation after the Megillah reading on Thursday 13 March (register here to join us) and the Purim spiel on Sunday 16 March (book your tickets here). 

We will supply the dough, a smorgasbord of fillings and good vibes. Just bring your apron and lots of energy.

Choose from either or both sessions—11.00 am and 1.00 pm—and bring your friends—many hands make light hamantaschen, after all.

We can't wait for the intoxicating waft of freshly baked hamantaschen to fill the campus. Mmmm.
